CAMP DESCRIPTION: Join in on the Ukulele fun as we learn chords, strumming and songs! It doesn’t matter what your experience or skill level is. There will be a short performance for parents at the end of the last day.
Camp Director, Mikayla Tackaberry is currently in her 3rd year as the vocal and instrumental director at Hillcrest Academy. She has a passion for helping students develop their love of music and the simple joys that come with making music with others. Mikayla obtained her bachelor’s in music education at Olivet Nazarene University in 2023 and has continued to find joys in developing students in their vocal, musical theatre, and performance abilities.
LOCATION: Hillcrest Academy, 1421 540th St SW, Kalona, IA
ELIGIBILITY: Camp is for students who are entering 3rd-6th grade and limited to 15 campers and need a minimum of 8.
COST: $55.00 per child
REGISTRATION & PAYMENTS: All camp registrations and payments will now be through the Bound website.
WHAT TO BRING: Water bottle with your child’s name on it.
