Ice Cream Social Oct. 1 | Cheer on the Hillcrest Ravens Volleyball team as they take on Highland! 4th–8th graders and their families are invited to an Ice Cream Social between the JV and Varsity games, hosted by National Honor Society. Please RSVP here by Sunday, September 27. Games begin at 5:00 p.m.

Please note: Senior Night will be held this evening. Our senior volleyball girls will be honored between the JV and Varsity games. Please remain in your seats until after the senior athletes have been honored and then come down to the cafeteria for the ice cream social.

We will not have formal visit days for current 6th–11th graders. Instead, we will offer personal visit days beginning in October and running through the first week of May. Please contact Rebecca Beachy Miller at rbeachymiller@hillcrestravens.org to schedule your visit.

Current 5th graders (incoming 6th graders) will have formal visit days in late January and early February. More details will be shared as we get closer to the event.

Annual Pork Supper Fundraiser
Our junior students are selling pork supper tickets, or you can purchase them online. The meal will be served in the Hillcrest gymnasium from 4:30–7:00 p.m.

Harvest Party Oct. 24, 4:30-7:00 p.m. | FFA will be hosting a Harvest Party for 4th-8th Graders. We’ll provide a light supper. There’ll be games and other goodies. We’ll be outside for the entire time so please dress accordingly. Sign up here by Sunday, October 18th.

I’m looking for 3 to 5 people to help with the event. You will serve food, clean up and chaperone the event. Please sign up here!

New this year: The state will open a second application period for ESA (Education Savings Account). We do not yet know the exact dates, but the application window is expected to be in October–November. This will give families who transfer schools at semester the opportunity to apply for and receive state ESA funding.

While families will not be eligible for the full annual ESA amount during the second application period, students who qualify will be eligible to receive approximately $4,074 in ESA funding for the second semester.
