3rd – 5th Grade
CAMP DESCRIPTION:
Get ready for a delicious baking adventure! This 3-day camp is designed for young chefs eager to learn the art of baking. Each day is packed with hands-on activities that will have kids creating and tasting their masterpieces!
Day 1: We’ll start with the basics! Kids will learn essential kitchen tools and skills, such as how to measure ingredients properly and safely use baking tools. Then, they’ll bake cookies and learn how to make a pie crust from scratch, practicing mixing, rolling, and preparing dough.
Day 2: Things get even more exciting as kids make a homemade pie and prepare cinnamon roll dough. They’ll learn about filling preparation, dough rising, and proper baking techniques while exploring fun flavor combinations.
Day 3: The grand finale is all about sweet treats! Kids will make gooey cinnamon rolls and rich brownies, learning baking timing, temperature control, and simple decorating techniques.
By the end of camp, your child will have a solid foundation in baking skills and confidence in the kitchen plus a collection of delicious treats to share.
6th – 8th Grade
CAMP DESCRIPTION:
This camp is for aspiring young chefs ready to take their cooking skills to the next level! Over three action-packed days, kids will explore various cooking techniques, knife skills, and create delicious dishes from scratch. Each day, they’ll focus on different types of meals, using fresh ingredients and learning essential culinary skills.
Day 1: Kids will build a strong foundation with essential knife skills and kitchen safety. They’ll also learn how to make pizza dough from scratch, understanding mixing, kneading, and proper dough handling. To wrap up the day, students will bake muffins while practicing accurate measuring and mixing techniques.
Day 2: The focus shifts to pizza making and baking. Kids will use their homemade dough to create and bake their own pizzas, learning about sauce preparation, topping combinations, and oven safety. They’ll also bake banana bread while reinforcing proper measuring, mixing, and baking techniques.
Day 3: The final day is all about pasta from scratch! Kids will learn how to mix, roll, and shape fresh pasta, then prepare a creamy homemade Alfredo sauce to complete their dish. They’ll explore timing, temperature control, and plating techniques.
By the end of this culinary adventure, kids will have the skills to cook a variety of meals confidently and safely.
Due to the nature of the class, food allergies should be specified ahead of time to make sure all students can enjoy the class to its full extent.

Camp Director, Joanna Schultz is a graduate of the University of Caloocan City in the Philippines. She majored in Secondary Education in Technology and Livelihood Education. Before her move here Joanna shared her passion for food in both private and public schools in the Philippines, teaching various food classes. Her joy lies in baking and cooking with kids, creating delightful and educational culinary experiences.

ELIGIBILITY: Camp for students entering 3rd – 5th grade is limited to 16 students.
Camp for students entering 6th – 8th grade is limited to 12 students.
COST: $55.00 per child (includes food & supplies)
REGISTRATION & PAYMENTS: All camp registrations and payments will now be through the Bound website.
WHAT TO BRING: Water bottle with your child’s name on it.
