Sarena

Sarena loves the community and the support that people are able to give at Hillcrest Academy. She enjoys small class sizes which allow her to have one-on-one time with teachers, enhancing her educational experience.

The word Sarena would use to describe Hillcrest Academy is incredible. She says, “I cannot imagine myself anywhere else. I like the relationships I’ve created with my teachers and classmates.” Sarena feels that Hillcrest has prepared her for college through challenging her in her classes and for life beyond school. She says, “Teachers expect a lot of you, which allows you to learn your limits, and even exceed them. Hillcrest is preparing me to be a good steward. It teaches me to see the good in others, and the good inside myself. The school teaches me how to include others, to share my faith, to help those in need. I’ve learned what it means to be a Christian, how to respect others who differ from you. I am thankful for what my years here have taught me and I hope to use it in life.”
