Homecoming
Next year join us October 4-5, for Homecoming 2024!
- Annual Alumni Soccer Match – On the home pitch, under the lights on Friday, October 4.
- Joetown Classic 5K – Part of Homecoming is a 5K run/walk called the Joetown Classic. This year’s event will be on Saturday, October 5.
- Pork Supper – The annual Pork Supper sponsored by the Hillcrest Academy junior class will be Saturday, October 5. The meal will be served from 4:30-7:00 PM in Hillcrest Union (gymnasium).
We love when our alumni get together (either many years after graduation or only a few) to reminisce and remember the time they had in high school together. If classes need help gathering class info, we’d love to help. This year the classes scheduled to have a reunion are the classes with graduation years ending in 4 and 9. If alumni have questions about Homecoming or their reunion, please contact the Office of Advancement.
Homecoming 2023 was a huge success!
After the Joetown Classic, from roughly 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM, everyone had the opportunity to view the SOLAR ECLIPSE with special glasses provided by Everence as well as through a telescope provided by Ray Miller ’74. It ended up being cloudy, so most watched a live stream of the eclipse in the main lobby.
Later that afternoon, former soccer players took the home pitch for the annual alumni soccer match. Everyone worked up an appetite for the Pork Supper that evening.
After the Pork Supper, Hoi Ting Davidson ’12 along with other professional musicians performed The Hymn Project in Celebration Hall. The event was hosted by badangleevents.org.
