Adia Scott Blazes to State Victory at Mike Henderson MS Track Meet

Ravens middle schooler, Adia Scott ’29 left her mark on the Mike Henderson Middle School Iowa Association of Track Coaches state meet, showcasing incredible speed and determination against a talented field of eighth-grade athletes. Competing in the small school division, Adia faced off against nearly 50 runners in her class, yet she emerged victorious in the highly competitive 100-meter dash.

With a lightning-fast time of 13.14 seconds, Adia surged across the finish line, claiming the coveted state title in the event. Her impressive performance demonstrated not only her exceptional speed but also her focus and drive on the big stage.

Adia’s talent wasn’t limited to the 100m. She also showcased her versatility and endurance in the 200-meter dash. Facing another strong group of competitors, Adia ran a solid race, clocking in at 27.65 seconds to secure a commendable fourth-place finish.
