Mark

Mark Miller is in his second year as a science teacher at Hillcrest where he teaches Chemistry, Physics, AP Chemistry, and AP Physics. Prior to joining the faculty, he earned his doctorate in the field of Biochemistry at the University of Iowa, where he fostered a love for communicating and teaching science. Mark is excited to teach at Hillcrest because it offers small class sizes, which allows for lesson flexibility and small-group projects and discussions. Hillcrest also has fantastic laboratory facilities and equipment, and Mark makes regular use of these for hands-on demonstrations of Chemistry and Physics.

When asked his favorite Bible verse, he responded with

“But the greatest of these is Love.”

– 1 Corinthians 13:13b
