Ravens Fall in Four

The Hillcrest Academy Raven volleyball team dropped a four-set Southeast Iowa Superconference match at Pekin. The home Panthers were winners 26-24, 9-25, 25-21 and 25-20. Panther leaders were Carlie Gambell with 21 assists, 15 digs for Ezra Parsons, 12 kills for Taylor Moore, four aces for Kendra Schultz and three blocks for Fynlie Brooks. On the Hillcrest scoresheet, Emma Parizek had 24 assists. Annika Schrock 19 digs and 10 kills.
Brynna Boshart with six aces and a block for Ruth Witthoft. With the win, Pekin was 7-3. Hillcrest is now 4-6.
