The Flock: Helping the Ravens Soar in Year One

By now, you’re hopefully familiar with The Flock, the Ravens Athletic Booster Club. During its first year, The Flock stayed busy hosting tournaments and growing its membership. The revenue generated from those efforts allowed the organization to purchase a wide range of equipment and resources that will directly benefit Hillcrest student-athletes. Each of these projects will make a meaningful difference:

• Softball Pitching Machine – Provides reliable, game-like training with movement pitches, ground balls, and pop flies, allowing athletes to improve year-round.
• Baseball Batting Cage Netting – Enhances safety for athletes, families, and spectators by replacing worn, damaged netting.
• Raven-Branded Pop-Up Tent – Improves visibility and provides shelter at events, helping showcase our programs with pride.
• Movable Full-Size Soccer Goal – Increases practice flexibility while helping preserve the condition of the main field.
• Volleyball Carts & Volley Lite Balls – Strengthens youth camps and feeder programs, supporting the future of Hillcrest volleyball.

According to The Flock President, Maria Meller, “These investments directly support athlete development, safety, and program growth that will be felt across multiple sports and seasons.”
