2026 Girls Golf Season Recap

The Hillcrest Ravens girls golf team had a landmark season, posting an 18–8 record and producing a historic postseason run led by Claire Withrow ’26.

SEISC Conference Meet (May 15)

Hillcrest finished 4th as a team in the conference meet with a score of 410, behind Highland (370), Wapello (387), and Burlington Notre Dame (403).

    Class 1A First Round Regional — at North Cedar (May 16)

    The Ravens advanced out of the first round as runners-up, posting a team score of 396. Claire Withrow ‘was the team leader with a 3rd-place individual finish at 90, with Annika Schrock ’29 (96), Emma Parizek ’29 (102), Maddie Carolan ’29 (108), Ava Miller ’28 (109), and Brynna O’Rourke ’28 (109) rounding out the card. Highland won the round with a 361, and both teams advanced to the Regional Final.

    Class 1A Regional Final — Heritage Oaks, Wapello (May 22)

    At the Regional Final, Hillcrest finished third as a team with a 389. While the team’s season came to a close, Claire Withrow made history as the first Hillcrest Academy golfer ever to qualify for the state tournament, placing 6th individually with a round of 90. Other Hillcrest scorecards included Maddie Carolan 93, Annika Schrock and Ava Miller 103, Brynna O’Rourke 113, and Emma Parizek 114.

    Withrow advanced to the Class 1A State Meet in Boone, representing the program at the state level for the first time in school history.
