Hillcrest Drops Road Match

Hillcrest Ravens 0 – Burlington Notre Dame 7

Tired legs from a weekend tournament and injuries seemed to catch up with the Ravens when they traveled to Burlington Notre Dame.  As the game opened both teams worked to gain possession and create attacks, with the ball spending most of its time in the middle of the field. On a long ball down the middle, miscommunication and a poor clearance led to BND’s first goal. The second came after a handball call in the box led to a BND penalty kick. 

In the second half two defensive players were off the field with injuries which meant a reshuffling of the lineup, something BND took advantage of scoring five more times. 

The Ravens return to action Friday, hosting WACO in their first home game of the season.
