43 Ravens Recognized As Academic All-Superconference

Student-athletes at Hillcrest Academy have put the time in the classroom and on the fields of competition so far this school year. Forty-three members of the Raven student body have been named Southeast Iowa Superconference Academic All-Conference during the fall and winter sports seasons.

The senior class honorees include Angel Sambrano, Claire Withrow, Lincoln Miller, Micah Kacmarynski, Niva Helmuth, Nora Swartzendruber, Owen Scott, Rowan Miller, Rya Scott, Siena Stanerson, Stavia Miller and Tara Poole.

For the juniors it’s Addison Miller, Ava Miller, Isaac Beachy, Kale Bailey, Marie Yoder, Rebecca Peng, Ruth Witthoft, and Sasha Timco.

Representing the sophomores are Gibson Scott, Jude Ours, Rhys Bender and Valerya Canchola.

Freshmen earning the honor are Abe Widmer, Adia Scott, Amelia Vigneron, Annika Schrock, Beckett Miller, Brendan Neuschwander, Bryann Boshart, Calvin Meller, Clara Raphael, Claire Miller, Ella Slaubaugh, Emma Parizek, Evan Slaubaugh, Landon Allen, Levi Fernau, Lucas Beachy, Molly Birky, Oliver Miller and Simon Willems.

In order to be eligible a student-athlete must have competed in at least one of cross country, volleyball and basketball during this school year while maintaining a 3.5 or higher GPA.
