Extra! Extra! Announcing the ‘Hillcrest Times: Christmas Edition’

As the first semester came to a close, our 8th-grade students were been busy immersing themselves in the roles of investigative journalists. Every student has chosen to report on significant stories within the Hillcrest community, neighborhoods, and home churches.

Our students navigated the full editorial process by conducting professional interviews, performing research, and refining their drafts into polished articles.

It is a pleasure to share that these individual pieces have been compiled into a special publication, the ‘Hillcrest Times, Christmas Edition.’ It is more than the technical skills our students learned that we are most proud of, but it is the way these middle school students expressed their faith within this journalism. Their input has been a great encouragement to all of us, and we hope that you will take a look.
