Stanerson Wins Two Statewide Awards

Siena Stanerson, senior on the Hillcrest Academy cross country team, was selected second team all-state by virtue of her 22nd place finish at the state meet.  The top 15 finishers are first team all-state and the second fifteen finishers are second team all-state.

Stanerson also was selected academic all-state.  To be all-state one must be a senior, have a cumulative GPA of 3.8 or above and finish in the top 30 at the state qualifier meet.
