Ravens Soccer Awarded Twice by United Soccer Coaches

The members of the United Soccer Coaches organization congratulated the Ravens boys soccer team for earning their United Soccer Coaches Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award for the Spring 2025 season.

According to their press release, this achievement sets the Ravens team apart from other teams, demonstrating our program’s commitment to success on the field.

The award is based on the number of yellow cards received in a season. Also, the varsity  team can’t receive any red cards. 

United Soccer Coaches announced on September 4, 2025 the High School Team Academic Award winners, recognized for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2024-25 academic year. Hillcrest Academy was included in the list with a team grade point average of 3.5.

A total of 302 soccer teams (128 boys, 174 girls) posted a team grade point average of 3.25 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2024-25 academic year. Of that total, 35 schools had both their boys and girls programs recognized.

The team GPA is determined by adding every player’s GPA, then dividing by the number of players.
