Beachy anunciada como nueva profesora de Español

Principal Dwight Gingerich is pleased to announce that Anita (Miller ’93) Beachy will join the Hillcrest Academy team in the fall to fill the Spanish position. Anita will replace Sierra Cheney who will step away for a one-year leave of absence to stay home with her new baby.

Anita comes to Hillcrest from the Mid-Prairie Homeschool Assistance Program, where she has served the last 12 years. Anita previously taught in Woodstock, IL and Carpentersville, IL as a bilingual educator and before that at Scattergood Friends School in West Branch.

Anita is a graduate of Central College with degrees in English and Spanish and completed her licensure coursework at the University of Iowa. Anita is married to Jon Beachy ‘85, is the mother of Josiah ‘23 and Lydia ‘25, and they attend West Union Mennonite Church. In her free time, Anita enjoys reading, puzzles, watching sporting events and traveling. Welcome, Anita!
