Number One Ranked Owen Scott Competes at The Drake Relays

Ravens junior Owen Scott showcased his talent at the prestigious Drake Relays on Thursday, finishing eleventh in a highly competitive boys long jump field. Among the top 24 high school long jumpers statewide, Scott’s best leap of the day came in the preliminaries, measuring twenty-one feet 1.50 inches. However, Scott’s impressive season continues, as he currently holds the coveted number one ranking in 1A with a personal best of 22 feet 6.50 inches.

The long jump title went to Miciah LeLaCheurr of West Des Moines Valley with a winning jump of twenty-two feet ten inches.
