Ravens Split Superconference Duals With Indians and Arrows; Miller and Schrock See Red

The Hillcrest Academy Raven golf teams traveled to Heritage Oaks near Wapello Monday for Southeast Iowa Superconference action against the home Indians and Arrows. The Raven boys rolled to a 170-192 win. Junior Rowan Miller and sophomore Liam Schrock led Hillcrest with matching one-under-par 36s. Other Raven cards included Matthew Chalupa 48, Ethan Yoder 50, Rylan Good 54 and Lawson Schrock 55. Indians leader was Barrett Garrison at 44.

The Hillcrest girls were beaten by a 211-248 score. Medalist round went to Wapello’s Emma Gerhardt with a 46. Claire Withrow and Ava Miller led Hillcrest with matching 59s, followed by Brynna O’Rourke 60, Natalie Meganathan 70 and Izzy Frederick 72. The Hillcrest boys and girls play again Friday when they host WACO.
