Ravens Roll in Home Opener Over Huskies Tuesday

Hillcrest Union was rocking Tuesday night as the home Raven girls basketball team made it back-to-back wins to start the new season, hammering the visiting Cedar Valley Christian Huskies 69-32. The Ravens had a two touchdown lead by the end of the first at 21-7 and put up 23 more in the second to go up 44-19 at half. A 16-6 third quarter run put the game away and enacted the running clock at 60-25. Senior Malia Yoder had a massive night with 26 points. Claire Withrow added 22. Delaney Shaw and Maryn Boshart each accounted for eight and Niva Helmuth tacked on five. The Ravens are 2-0 ahead of a Tuesday trip to Highland.
