Hillcrest Academy Ravens Soar with Sweeps Over Lone Tree and Cedar Valley

Two local volleyball teams traveled to Cedar Valley Christian Tuesday night. The Hillcrest Academy Ravens scored two victories in two set sweeps, taking down the Lone Tree Lions 21-10 and 21-18 and Cedar Valley Christian Huskies 21-13 and 21-12. Leaders on the night for the Ravens included Claire Withrow with 31 assists, Malia Yoder piled up 20 kills, 12 digs, and six aces. Kylee Statler had eight kills and two blocks. Lydia Beachy added 15 digs and Stavia Miller and Marryn Boshart had three aces each. Hillcrest has won 11 of their last 12 to move their record to 14-3 on the year.
