Greta Anderson Hired as English and Chemistry Teacher

Principal Dwight Gingerich is pleased to announce that Greta Anderson will join the Hillcrest Academy team in the fall of 2024 to teach English and Chemistry.

Greta spent her early years in Columbus, OH before receiving her undergraduate degree in English from Stanford University. Greta went on to receive her MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Iowa and a PhD in English Literature from Rutgers University. In addition, Greta did undergraduate Science coursework at Iowa State University and Master’s level Physician Assistant studies at Des Moines University. Greta was most recently teaching in southwest Iowa at East Union CSD.

In her free time, Greta enjoys spending time with her dog, Sugar, and is an avid quilt maker. Welcome, Greta!
