Ravens’ Resilience Prevails: Overcoming Challenges to Clinch Sectional Title

Four straight Sectionals in four years qualifying for Districts! Ravens find a way to win Sectionals for the second straight year!

It’s been a tough year for the boys. They are highly talented with some returning veterans. Sprinkle in some freshman golfers who are working hard is a recipe for a winning formula. The Ravens have played decent golf this year, but not a breakout of what they are capable of yet by any means. The veterans rose to the top, literally. Rowan Miller shot a two under par 70, with a severe ankle injury and a brace. Liam Schrock added a one over par 73. They were the top two medalists on the day. They put on a clinic. Seth Ours fired an impressive 39,42 for an 81. Freshman, Lawson Schrock, who has been struggling, made a statement today. His 46 front nine and 43 back nine propelled the Ravens to a two point Sectional victory. The new golfers have to be the ones to step up and that’s what they did. Ethan Yoder had a 103 and Matthew Chalupa with a 104. They are not far behind.
