Jessica Hart Joins Middle School Faculty

Principal Dwight Gingerich is pleased to announce that Jessica Hart will join the Hillcrest Academy team in the fall of 2024 to fill our Middle School English & Language Arts and Science positions.

After her early years in Hawaii, Jessica graduated from high school in Aurora, CO.  Jessica received her undergraduate degree in Education from Western Illinois University, with Middle School Endorsements in Science, Language Arts and Social Studies. Jessica recently obtained a Master’s Degree in Agriculture, Leadership and Communication from the University of Illinois.

In her free time, Jessica loves to weave, spin her own yarn, crochet, and knit. She is a book lover and has her own small library. She also loves nature and wandering in the woods, spending time in God’s creation. Jessica is an unashamed goat and rabbit fanatic, and has a deaf therapy dog. She is the mother of Gillian (24) and Brodin (19) and currently resides in Savanna, IL (but is obviously moving to Iowa). Welcome, Jessica!
