Help Show Love and Be a Volunteer!

Come help love our Muslim neighbors by serving at a Sudanese Party hosted at Parkview Church in Iowa City on Friday, April 12th from 7-11:00 PM. They are excited to once again host around 300 Sudanese and their children at their church’s campus. As the adults celebrate and enjoy their time together, they will create a fun and welcoming environment for them and their kids!

The Hillcrest school community has two Sudanese students and this is a wonderful opportunity for us to show love and support for those lovely ladies, experience Sudanese culture, and be the hands and feet of Christ.

We are looking for about 30 people who might be willing to work with youth during the event at Parkview, 0-3 years, elementary, middle school, or high school ages. You can come as an individual or bring your family. It would be helpful to have people there the whole time, but if you can only come to the first half or the second half, let Sierra Cheney know at (scheney@hillcrestravens.org).
