The [Goshen] Chili Supper

Even when there are miles between us, there is still so much that connects us all.

And when it comes to an event as longstanding and historic as The Chili Supper, there’s something about the familiar tastes and smells that bring us all together. A week after our current seniors hosted The Chili Supper in Hillcrest Union, almost 300 miles away in Goshen IN, Susan (Yoder ’68) and Firman Gingerich ’68,along with Bonnie (Hostetler ’84) and Lyle Miller ’84 hosted a group of local alumni to enjoy together, the traditional chili supper menu. Also this year, the group had the chance to hear a virtual update from principal, Dwight Gingerich.

Chili, cheese sandwiches, potato salad, pie and ice cream, were all served . . . along with lots of laughs, stories, and memories.
