Featured Artist Janice S. Bell: Kaleidoscope of Color

The Hillcrest Academy Art Gallery is featuring the artwork of Janice S. Bell for this fall semester in a show titled, Kaleidoscope of Color. 

ARTIST’S STATEMENT:  Janice’s love for rich color and the play of light and shadow on and through objects motivates her creation process. Much of her subject matter is inspired by nature or common objects found around the home.

PROFILE:  Janice has a BFA however, her work with watercolor is largely self-taught with the use of workshops and years of practice.

RECEPTION:  All are welcome to an artist’s reception following the Hillcrest Academy Fall Music Concert on October 22. The Concert starts at 3:00 PM.

Janice’s artwork will be up through December. Please stop by during school hours and visit the gallery located outside of Celebration Hall. Check in at the front office so we can open the gallery for you. We hope to see you there!
