Ravens Sweep Cedar Valley Christian Huskies and Lone Tree Lions

The Ravens volleyball team is enjoying the rewards of a hard week of work on the court.  The will be going into the end of the season after a home sweep of the Cedar Valley Christian Huskies 3-0 Tuesday.  They then hit the road Thursday for a conference matchup in the Lions Den of Lone Tree for yet another 3-0 sweep.  

The Raven passers were getting the ball to setter Claire Withrow consistently all week, which she then shared for 53 assists with the Hillcrest Hitters generously.  Six hitters, including Withrow, Zoey Curtiss, Niva Helmuth, Lydia Beachy, Kylee Statler, and Malia Yoder each tallied between 6-23 kills in the two matchups, with Yoder leading the way.  Yoder added 24 digs and 9 aces to lead stats in those categories.  Beachy added 22 digs and 8 aces, and Statler 10 digs and 5 blocks to round out the stat leaders.

The Ravens will be in Washington this Saturday for a seven team tournament. They will then round out regular season play Tuesday with the final conference matchup at home vs. Louisa Muscatine.  Come out and support your Ravens!
