Hillcrest Cross Country Invitational

Plan now to attend the Hillcrest Cross Country Invitational held on Hillcrest Campus and in the Joetown woods Monday October 2nd.  “This is likely the largest annual athletic event hosted by Hillcrest Academy.  This year is no exception.  Fifteen high school teams and thirteen junior high teams are expected to compete at the meet.  Pella is ranked number one in Iowa in 3A and is the heavy favorite in the girls race.  Washington girls are currently ranked twentieth in 3A and will be competing for the team title.  Pella is also the favorite in the boys team race.  They are currently ranked number two in 3A while Washington boys are currently ranked seventh in 3A.  Mediapolis boys are ranked eleventh in 2A and will also be in attendance.”  Of course, you will want to be there to cheer for the Hillcrest runners.  They include Delaney Shaw, Rya Scott, Brynna O’Rourke, Marie Yoder, Jesse Blossom,  Jeremiah Danker, Micah Gerber, Kyle Neuschwander, Micah Kacmarynski, Alex Castillo, Isaac Beachy, Braden Hartsock and Mason Wilson.

Admission is $5 per car.  Hillcrest passes will be honored.
