RAVENS DOUBLE UP WOLVES TO RUN WIN STREAK TO FIVE

The Hillcrest Academy baseball team continued their winning ways Friday, taking an all-KCII area battle on the diamond 4-2 over visiting Winfield-Mt. Union. Each team tallied once in the first, Hillcrest took the lead with another in the third and added on two more in the fifth. A late Wolves rally fell short with a single run in the sixth. The Ravens finished with seven hits. Luke Schrock had three of them, finishing perfect at the plate with an RBI on two doubles and a pair of runs scored. Rowan Miller was two for two while driving in three.
