Martin Hired As Paraeducator

Principal Dwight Gingerich is excited to announce that Sheri Martin will join the Hillcrest Academy team in the fall of 2023 to fill the new Paraeducator position, assisting in our new 6th grade classroom. Sheri comes to Hillcrest after serving as a Paraeducator at Washington Middle School. A graduate of Iowa Central Community College, Sheri also brings experience as both a mental health crisis counselor and corrections officer.

Sheri has three daughters with five grandchildren and attends Cornerstone Community Church in Kalona. In her free time, Sheri enjoys riding horses, kayaking, bowling,  gardening and spending time with her dog, a blue heeler.
