Affirmation notes, TMAD and a Senior Reflection: Chapels May 8-12

Our chapel week consisted of a variety of events.

On Monday, we again hosted a recording session of Thursday Mornings with Alex and Don (TMAD), a podcast done by Don Patterson and Alex Zimmerman. Alex asked Don questions that had been collected from Hillcrest students about faith, the Bible, Christianity, and spirituality.

On Tuesday, we met in small groups.

Wednesday’s chapel was a preview of the upcoming music concert of Hillcrest choir and band. 

On Thursday, we had our last affirmation notes chapel. We were encouraged to write a note to seniors, departing students, and faculty and staff who will be moving on from Hillcrest next year.

Friday’s chapel consisted of Jace Rempel, senior, presenting a senior reflection on his years at Hilllcrest. The rest of the time was spent in singing hymns that seniors suggested.
