The Ravens ended their regular golf season on a perfect note. They finished 28-0 with a 157-231 win over Lone Tree at the Kalona Golf course. Despite losing Liam Schrock to falling ill after 7 holes, the Ravens managed to still shoot their lowest round of 9 at home and their fourth lowest of the year.

Leading the way was Hillcrest medalist Rowan Miller, who shot an outstanding 37 with 2 birdies. Runner up medalist was Raven Luke Schrock, with a 38 with a consistent 7 pars and just two bogeys. Jace Rempel finished with a 41. Seth Ours, who has been gone for a short while, returned ready to play and fired off a 41 as well, to complete the Raven scoring. Josiah Beachy finished with a 53, while Ethan Yoder finished with a 90. Coach Schintler commented, “When someone has an off day or is not feeling well, a Raven steps up.”

The Hillcrest Ravens next stop is at Sectionals this coming Wednesday morning, where they try to advance to Districts for the third straight year.
