Beth Swantz Named 6th Grade Teacher

Principal Dwight Gingerich is thrilled to announce that Beth (Litwiller ’81) Swantz will join the Hillcrest Academy team in the fall of 2023 to fill the 6th grade teaching position. Beth currently works as a digital consultant at Grant Wood Area Education Agency. She is currently Hillcrest Academy’s Operating Board President and attends West Union Mennonite Church.

Beth previously was a 4th grade teacher and is excited to return to the classroom in the inaugural year of our middle school.

Beth is married to Rod Swantz ’80 and they are the parents of two daughters, Taylor ’09 (Tavon Bagley) and Lauren ’14 (Lee Ropp). They have two grandchildren, Easton and Nora Ropp. Beth enjoys reading, chatting with friends and family, puzzles and all things winter. Welcome, Beth!
