Ravens weekly recap
The Ravens visited Highland for a volleyball matchup this week and fell just short in their attempt to get back on track.
After dropping the first set, the Ravens stormed out to a 19-13 lead in the second set in their attempt to knot the match 1-1. The habit to get stuck in a serve receive rotation once again bit the Ravens and set 2 was lost. Unfortunately set 2’s woes carried over into set 3, closing out the match.
Malia Yoder had 19 digs, 5 kills, and 8 assists

The Ravens had a great win versus Rivermont this week. 11 Ravens saw action, several for the first of their varsity careers. Anna Torok, our exchange student, was one of those players. She recorded her first varsity kill and a thrilling service ace!
Highlights for the evening include the following:

Kylee Statler had 9 service aces
Claire Withrow had 11 assists and 7 aces
Maria Portillo had her first of many varsity kills!
