Ravens Cross Country Competes at English Valleys Invitational

Micah Gerber led the Hillcrest Ravens boys cross country team at the English Valleys Invitational at Knoll Ridge Golf Course in North English Tuesday. Gerber placed eighth with a time of 20:29. Jesse Blossom was the next Raven to cross the finish line. Blossom placed eighteenth in 21:38. Jesse was close to his personal best time on a very hilly course. Kyle Neuschwander placed fifty-fourth in 29:37 and Jeremiah Danker was fifty-sixth in 31:15. Lane Harmon of North Mahaska won the individual title in 18:52. North Mahaska won the team title with a stingy 19 points. Hillcrest did not have a full boys team.
