Art Students Take In Art Workshops In Burlington

Recently the Southeastern Iowa Super Conference annual art workshops were hosted by Southeastern Community College in West Burlington.  This event involved around 20 high schools and included around 300 student who are enthusiastic about art.  Hillcrest Academy took 14 students:  Evelyn Gerber, Julia Boller, Sarah Farrier, Lydia Beachy, Esther Hughes, Jesse Blossom, Quang Huynh, Abigail Kacmarynski, Vlada Conea, Samantha Camarena-Paredes, Rosa Tapia, Madeline Paiva, Nicole Paiva, Garrett Hurst

Students were able to choose a morning and an afternoon workshop which included, Pastels, Stop Motion Animation, Cosplay Creation, Monoprints, Painting with Light Photography, Comics, Flip Book, Special Effects Make-up.
