The Ravens led the way Friday with Josiah Beachy shooting his best round ever carding a 44 at the Kalona Golf Course vs Louisa-Muscatine.  Beachy’s 2 par, one birdie 44 tied Louisa-Muscatine’s Xander Bieri’s 44 for top score on the day. A four hole card back earned Beachy his first medalist honors at the school.  Hillcrest Luke Schrock finished with a 45 and 3 pars. Liam Schrock finished with a 51.  Jace Rempel carded a 52 with a near eagle putt drop on hole 7 finishing with a birdie. Ravens Alex Niemeyer carded a 59.  Louisa-Muscatine was unable to field a complete team only bringing 3 players. However, the Ravens still outscored Louisa-Muscatine 192-207.

Hillcrest also hosted Mediapolis late Monday afternoon. It was a struggle to keep warm as temperatures started around 46 degrees, then quickly changed half way through the round. Temperatures finished around 41 degrees with a 32 degree windchill and the Ravens golf went cold as well. Mediapolis outscored Hillcrest 190-220.  The Ravens managed just 3 pars and were led by Jace Rempel (54), Liam Schrock (55), Josiah Beachy (55), Luke Schrock (56) and Alex Niemeyer (79).
