Shaw goes to the well in 400
Three freshman girls represented Hillcrest Ravens track and field at the inaugural Mike Kautz Invitational in fine fashion Monday in Lone Tree. Each competed in three open events recording personal bests or season bests in all of their running events. Delaney Shaw had the highest finishes placing third in both the 400 meter dash in 1:11.12 and the long jump with a best jump of 14 feet one quarter inch. Malia Yoder was the team’s other medalist placing fourth in the 200 meter dash in 29.43 seconds.

Quang Huynh competed in 100, 200 and 400 meter dashes. His best performance came in the 100 meter dash where he placed thirteenth in a personal best time of 12.97 seconds. Ravens track and field compete next at Central Lee Monday April 18.
