Hillcrest Golf Competes in its First Dual Meet of the Season

Hillcrest dropped its first dual meet in a close one 197-195 at Blue Top Ridge Gold Course in Riverside. The Ravens were led by Freshman Liam Schrock 45, Junior Jace Rempel 45, Junior Luke Schrock 52, Senior Alex Niemeyer 55 and Junior Josiah Beachy with a 59. Coach Phil Schintler said, “Luke finished with 2 pars and a birdie. Liam had 3 pars. Jace had 3 pars. Alex had one of the most consistent shots and better drives since last year. Josiah has improved greatly on his drives as well. Last year it took several meets before the Ravens dipped below 200 as a team. A 197 was very respectable right out of the gate. The Ravens will be fun to watch this year!”
