Stories of Mary and Joseph: Chapel Dec. 6 – 10

A main emphasis this past week in chapel was on the stories of Mary and Joseph and the messages they received from the angel.

Our chapel time on Monday, Dec 6th was a time of open mic sharing about God “appearing” to us and how we responded to God’s call on our lives. 

There was no chapel on Tuesday due to a planned late start.

On Wednesday, art teacher Bryn Hovde shared perspectives of historical art featuring the appearance of the angel to Mary. There is much symbolism that artists have used to connect persons to the story.

Thursday’s chapel was a preview of the Hillcrest Christmas concert on Sunday.

On Friday, we gathered in the Celebration Hall foyer to sing Christmas songs led by Bible teacher Lee Ebersole.
