Volleyball Competes at Wilton Tournament

**Seniors Norah Yoder, Esther Hughes, and Evelyn Gerber**

The Ravens Volleyball squad traveled to 2A powerhouse Wilton’s home volleyball tournament this weekend. After a rollercoaster of 4 & 5 set late night matches in conference play during the week, fatigue set in and the Ravens never did get their legs fully under them. The highlight of the day was forcing a late set timeout with the score tied 17-17 with the home team, #3 ranked in 2A Wilton. The rally fell short, but mental & physical endurance was gained throughout the day as the Ravens battled through their early season grinding schedule of 18 matches in 16 days.

Highlights of the day were Esther Hughes’ 17 kills, Malia Yoder’s 26 digs, and Kylee Statler with 17/17 from the service line with 4 aces.
