Rempel Gets an Ace on Kalona Number 8

Sophomore Jace Rempel gets a hole-in-one at the Kalona Golf Club on Tuesday.
The Ravens fell short today scoring a 211, just behind West Liberty’s 203. Mid-Prairie won with a 182. Even though most of the guys struggled at the Triangular on Tuesday, the Raven highlight was an ACE, Hole-in-One by Jace Rempel on the par 3 hole number 8. It may possibly be the first hole-in-one in Hillcrest Golf history dating back to 1994. Jace finished with the Raven high of the day, with a 46. Josiah Beachy shot one of his best rounds of the year carding a 56. Other scores were London Schrock with a 58, Luke Schrock with a 51 and Alex Niemeyer finished with a 67.
    
The rough was rough on the Ravens today. It was thick today and they struggled to hit out of it. The Ravens will continue to prepare for Sectionals at North English Friday morning.
