Golf at Hillcrest Academy Continues to Set Personal and Yearly Team Highs

Hillcrest placed 5th out of 7 teams at the Central Lee Golf Invite, Green Acres Country Club in Donnellson Saturday morning. Temperatures reached 48 degrees by the last few holes with windy conditions all day of at least 15 mph.
 
Despite the tough competition and the chilly weather, the Ravens set personal and yearly team highs. London Schrock carded an 87 (44,43), Jace Rempel an 89 (47,42), Luke Schrock a 99 (52,47) and Alex Niemeyer a 116 (55,61). Jace had 8 pars to go along with his season 9 hole best of 42 on the back 9. Alex tied his personal best 9 hole round with his 55 and landed his first green in regulation on a par 3 hole, the #5 hole just 6 feet from the cup.
 
The Ravens 18 hole team score of 391 was 12 strokes better than the Super Conference Tournament just a few days ago. Their front 9 and back 9 team scores of 198 and 193 are their two best of the season.
