Gains on the Green: Ravens Improve Scores at the Lone Tree Quad Golf Meet
Hillcrest fell short of taking the quad today by 4 strokes, taking second place. The Ravens were lead again by medalist London Schrock with a 45. This is the 4th straight meet in which London has medaled. Luke Schrock tied for the second best score of the day with a 49, but lost the medal by a card back hole. London and Luke each had 3 pars. Jace Rempel finished with a 55, carding a birdie on hole number 5, a par 4. His second shot from 135 yards out landing 8 feet from the hole with a one putt. Alex Niemeyer carded his first bogey and par for the year and for the second straight outing shot a personal best of 63, beating his previous meet’s best of 69. Josiah Beachy finished with a 73. The temperature was finally a little warmer near 60 degrees, but still a little chilly with the breeze.
