Hillcrest Academy Track & Field Compete at the Williamsburg Co-ed Invitational

Tuesday the Hillcrest Academy track and field team competed on the new Williamsburg Track at the Williamsburg Co-ed Invitational. Sarah Miller started the Ravens off by throwing the shot put twenty-four feet seven inches. Ivana Ebersole was up next in the discus. Ebersole had a career best throw of fifty-three feet three inches. On the track, Madeline Fox competed in three events recording one season best and one personal record. The personal record came in the 100 meter hurdles where Fox won her heat in 20.35 seconds. Madeline ran the 400 meter hurdles in a season best time of 1:23.35 for sixteenth place. Fox also ran in the 100 meter dash. Her time was 15.51 seconds.

Quang Huynh was the sole competitor for the Hillcrest Academy boys track and field team. Quang ran two personal best times in the short sprint events. His time in the 100 meters was 14.12 seconds. He ran the 200 meter dash in 28.76 seconds.
