Hillcrest FFA Celebrates National FFA Week
The FFA chapter of Hillcrest Academy celebrated National FFA week February 22-26. On Tuesday, FFA members handed out Ice Cream Bars with Ag facts on them to faculty and staff during lunch.
On Friday the FFA members hosted the annual Ag Olympics where teams of students participated in a relay made up of a number of Ag related obstacles and tried to get the best time. Some of the obstacles included carrying five gallon buckets full of corn across the gym, getting dressed in overalls, boots and a hat, carting your partner down the court and back in a wheelbarrow, and finally, landing three bottle flips to stop the clock.
