Bontrager Runs at State
Junior Leah Bontrager placed fifty-second at the Iowa High School Cross Country Championships held in Fort Dodge Saturday. Bontrager covered the five kilometer course in 21:43.3. Coach Marty Gingerich commented, “This was Leah’s highest placing at the state meet in her three years competing there. We are so thankful to be able to complete an entire season without any unfortunate events during this challenging year. Leah represented her team and the Hillcrest Academy community well at the state meet. Thanks be to God!”
