Parable of the Sower is chapel focus: Oct. 19-23

Our scripture for this week of chapels was Mark 4:1-20, the Parable of the Sower.

Monday’s chapel introduced the week with a skit featuring the parable. We then read through the scripture for the week.

Tuesday’s chapel time was in small groups. Groups were encouraged to explore the parable of the sower.

On Wednesday, we were privileged to have John David Kenney with us to speak about this parable. John David recently began as pastor at West Union Mennonite Church.

On Thursday we heard from our guidance counselor, Leanne Bender, about how to be good soil for the seed (word of God) that God is planting in us. 

We wrapped up the week with a hymn sing led by Mike Wagner and Lee Ebersole.
