Junior Collin Miller again led the Hillcrest Ravens boys cross country team Thursday at the Iowa City Kickers soccer complex.  It was a cooler afternoon with temperatures in the mid-fifties.  A startling shower appeared midway through the boys race which was punctuated by bright sunshine.  Despite the changing weather, Miller persevered to place sixty-first in a personal best 20:35.  Will Kolck was the next Raven to finish.  His time of 21:29 is his best of the season.  Jorge Canchola was closing in on Kolck over the final mile but wasn’t able to overtake his teammate.  He was able to record a personal best time of 21:31 to remember the effort.   Sophomore Ford Washburn of City High won the race in 16:48.  Iowa City Liberty won the team title.  Hillcrest did not have the required five finishers to earn a place in the team standings.
