Ravens Baseball 2020

The Ravens finished the shortened baseball regular season with a 5-5 record. After a 1-5 start to the season Hillcrest won 4 in a row finishing the regular season with a 10-0 win on senior night vs Columbus.

Hillcrest has been led on the mound by Eli Ours, Drew Blauvelt, and London Schrock. Ours has an ERA of 0.86 and 21 Ks in 16 innings pitched, and Schrock has a .049 ERA and 13 Ks in 14 innings pitched. The Ravens hitting has improved throughout the season with Eli Ours, Luke Schrock, Kobe Borntrager, and Josiah Beachy all with batting averages above .300. Kobe Borntrager leads the team with 3 doubles, followed by Drew Blauvelt with 2. London Schrock leads the team with 2 triples. London Schrock and Jace Rempel are both tied for the team high with 7 RBI.

The Ravens finished tied for 3rd in the conference with a 5-3 record in conference games. Hillcrest had 13 players this season including 2 seniors, Kobe Borntrager and Drew Blauvelt. The Ravens will start postseason play on July 11 vs Lone Tree at Burlington Notre Dame.
